Your data and your choices
Your database stays on your computer. The gateway temporarily holds encrypted request and response payloads to deliver the results you authorize. Those results are shared with your AI provider. This gateway uses separate permissions from your encrypted iPhone connection.
Profile access covers enabled messages and documents, non-secret notes, contacts, tasks, calendar events, Matters, memories, the context engine and knowledge graph. Your AI discovers available operations and can create, update, send and delete when you request it. Credentials, secret notes and disabled sources stay private. Older read-only connections need one reconnection to enable these capabilities. Your computer must remain online with Talavine running. You can disconnect from Talavine or revoke the connection in your AI app at any time.
